[VERSE1] Lonely morning, when the phone starts ringing You get out of your bed but you barely realize It’s one of those days when you’d rather leave then stay Only then you can regain your sanity (you) started building, to secure your foot in a present that builds on the past’ debris Don't keep it low, while it won’t stop to show That from contrast beauty can surely grow [CHORUS1] If you are here and are awake, then Don’t look the other way And if you want to keep it up Then make sure you'll never stop [REFRAIN1] What about the love, what about the hate what about the things that’s hard to separate what about the hearts, what about the spades what about the apples and what about the snakes What about the joy what about the pain what about some shiny solemn misery What about the night what about the day What about the dark and vague transparency [VERSE2] Through day and night, when you work to beat the time At your desk or just next to a monotone assembly line It’s one of those tests that you better holdt and tie down to the beaten, irrational and a blatant pride (you) started building, to secure your truth in in a future that buries and dances on the past and the present and then again… yeah Just let the past go, and i won’t stop to show That from contrast some new and some pure will grow [CHORUS2] If you are here and are awake, then just sing your fears away And if you want to make it rain, then Don’t look the other way [REFRAIN2] What about the love, what about the hate what about the things that’s hard to separate what about the hearts, what about the spades what about the apples and what about the snakes What about the joy what about the pain what about some shiny solemn misery What about the night what about the day What about the dark and vague transparency SOLO: Sanyi & Zyrit [BRIDGE] What about the love, what about the hate what about the hearts and what about the spades What about the joy what about the pain What about the SHADES OF ELEMENTAL GREY What about the free and what about the slave what about the tragic and what about the brave what about the calm, what about the wave what about the conception and what about the grave [OUTRO]: For those who really want to stay You can make a better day for those who never want to stop you can help them reach the top For those who really want to stay .What about the love, what about the hate. Burnt Flags 03:19
[VERSE1] There was a time, i can remember When you and i seemed so obsessed How we planned, and how we shared our ways infallible But it’s so easy to change your mind [REFRAIN2] You dont know how black your heart is Spilled oil on a flawless grand design <<You need to know that>> you burned that banner that we carried This scorched smell still burns from inside <<You need to know that>> .You need to know that. about

Crashlander's fourth release is filled with a handful of songs, that materialized mainly during the pandemic, taking the sound and concept of Crashlander (once a live act, now a DIY project band) even further.

Boss Rush and Shades of Grey welcomes Hungarian chiptune-punk act, Zyrit on board, boasting a traditional punk-rock tempo with 8-bit video game music layering.

Burnt Flags is the black smoke catharsis, the love song of the EP, taking inspiration from Crashlander's early conceptual references, and the darker side of the 80's.

Focus dwells further into lo-fi videogame memories, as the song is a cover and a tribute to Super Hexagon game (in it's 10 year anniversary) from Terry Cavanagh, and the origin of the musical inspiration is Chipzel's banger, Focus.

The titular Last One Out Turns off the Light is one of Gábor's more complex arrangements. Some of the parts were recorded back in 2009 in Attila's bedroom during a summer workshop of the late band Passive Voice, the recorded tracks only to be rediscovered more than ten years later and extended to the current form. The song is a pessimistic reflection of the last years which seemed to be stranger than fiction.

Sing Now! was a natural fit for a melodic punk rock cover. A song that stayed with some of us from our childhood, a deep cut from Scatman, an unlikely connection to the punk-rock genre. Also a message for the next generations.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at home, also utilizing special digital technologies, such as the AI-based NAM modelling technique for the guitar sound.
